Child Education
The Nursery received an “Outstanding” judgment from OFSTED in 2006, this was maintained September 2009, November 2014 and November 2019. It believes that children should be safe and encouraged to be able to play, learn and explore both inside and outside.
Alverbridge Nursery enables children to grow and develop at the appropriate levels within each area of the Early Years Curriculum.
Observations alongside practitioner knowledge informs us of the areas that we may need to put extra support into, which children may require specialist input, areas that may require staff training (either in house or from a professional body).
The nursery supports vulnerable children and families whenever possible.
